How does the built-in sleeve work?


The sleeve is stored inside the umbrella handle and remains permanently connected to it. Pull it out through the handle opening, then unfold it around the closed umbrella.


Can the sleeve be separated from the umbrella?


No. The sleeve is designed to stay connected to the handle, so it is always there when you need it and cannot be left behind.

 

Will the sleeve keep my bag dry?


The full-cover sleeve helps contain water from a wet umbrella, including around the handle, so it’s easier to carry in your bag after the rain. For best results, shake off excess water before covering the umbrella.

 

Is the sleeve waterproof?


The sleeve is made from water-resistant fabric designed to contain everyday rainwater from a wet umbrella. It’s intended for daily carry rather than prolonged water storage.

 

How do I dry the sleeve after use?


Simply pull the sleeve out and leave it open to air-dry. Once dry, rotate the base to retract it neatly back into the handle.

 

How does OAVA handle windy weather?


OAVA features an 8-rib frame designed for reliable everyday use and added stability in changing weather. As with any compact umbrella, we recommend closing it in severe winds or storms.

 

Does the sleeve cover the handle too?


Yes. Unlike conventional umbrella sleeves, OAVA’s sleeve extends from the canopy to the handle, helping contain water from the entire closed umbrella.

 

Can I personalize the umbrella?


Yes. Personalization is available for orders of 20 or more umbrellas. The sleeve label can be customized with a name, message, date, or short dedication. Please allow at least 10 business days for customization before shipping. Perfect for corporate gifts, weddings, events, and special occasions.

 

Is OAVA suitable for everyday use?


Yes. OAVA is designed for daily commuting, travel, shopping, and moving between rainy streets, offices, homes, and cars.
